While our floor plans can be built using any construction method, many of our customers choose steel when it comes to their structure. Here’s a few reasons why steel may be a great choice for your project!

The Process

Decide on your floor plan
Search our library of stock plans, have us design something custom, or bring your own floor plans! Stock plans are delivered same-day, custom plans or modified stock plans typically take 8-10 weeks start to finish (factoring in revision cycles, time for rendering etc)
Consultation
There are so many variables that can affect budget, aesthetic, functionality etc. Once you’ve decided on a floor plan, we’ll work with you to fine tune your floor plans to work with your desired structure type.
Bid
In this phase, you will take your plans to your manufacturer (or, we can refer you to one of our manufacturing partners) to provide you with a bid, and discuss various building options and styles. Expect about 7-10 days for this phase.
Accepting a Bid
Should you choose to move forward with the bid from your manufacturer, you'll be required to place a deposit with the manufacturer (usually 25%-40% of the total project cost) to begin manufacturing. The remainder is typically due at completion, prior to shipping.
Engineering
Each building is engineered for factors such as seismic, snow and wind loads specific to your area, and other structural components. The engineering phase takes approximately 4-6 weeks on average
Manufacturing
Current lead times for this phase are averaging 3 months (depending on the time of year and complexity of the project). During this time, your building is being custom fabricated at your manufacturers factory.
Shipping
When your building is ready to ship, you'll pay your final balance and receive a delivery day. Most customers elect to offload their own building, and your manufacturer will coordinate with you as to what equipment you need to have on site to do so.
Assembly
Your building arrives ready to assemble! Many customers choose to DIY their build, which is super doable! Or, you may elect to hire a contractor to erect your steel building for you. We have a number of resources, and are available to answer any questions you have about erecting your custom metal building!
